About Us

Hello and thank you for taking the time to get to know us better. Our names are Merryn Hallowell and Ray Oborn. We are two mature aged retired business professionals  who love travelling and spending time with animals at the same time. We have been volunteer pet sitters and house minders in Australia, United States, United Kingdom  and Europe for the past two years.

NO money changes hands, we're just happy to be spending time with your precious pets and/or minding your home  in new and interesting destinations around the world.

We can assure you that we take our responsibility very seriously and promise to care for and give your pets all the attention they deserve in your absence.

We are a reliable and trustworthy couple with no criminal history.  We just love animals and the opportunity to travel in our retirement years.

Since retiring we've had the pleasure of looking after dogs, cats, guinea  pigs, hamsters and fish all over the world.

No pets, no problem. We can also  keep your precious asset safe and sound by providing a presence and making sure you don't return home to neglected plants and an overloaded mail box.

Now that we're retired and have more time on our hands the idea of travelling while looking after other people's pets appeals to us. We do have our own beautiful home on the Mornington Peninsula in Australia  but we like to escape our Southern Hemisphere winter and spend time travelling and pet sitting during the Northern Hemisphere summer.  So if you live in the Northern Hemisphere and would prefer to have your precious pets lovingly looked after in your own home while you're away, then please feel free to contact us. We'd be happy to hear from you.

While you're away we will provide you with regular updates and photos of your precious pets.

We will follow all instructions given by you and exercise your pets as required.  But most of all, we will offer your pets companionship and lots of love and attention.

We will also water your plants, collect your mail and provide a general overall presence in your home.

We will also leave your home clean and tidy and just as you left it  so, you won't even know we were there.
